    RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DATABASE

    The Research Equipment Database is an online open access database designed to enhance visibility of available scientific equipment in any given geographical location. This will in turn spur research collaboration and partnership, as well as access to and optimisation of the research facilities available within a given geographical area.

    While the first stage in the RED project covers Nigeria, subsequent faces will include other African countries till the entire continent of Africa is satisfactorily covered.

    • The NYA has her core values entrenched in integrity and excellence in research, and fostering research collaborations among young researchers nationally and internationally.

    HOW TO USE THE DATABASE

    Retrieving Information

    • Type in your equipment of interest in the search query box to find it OR simply use the Equipment list tab to find the equipment you are interested in.
    • Click on the Equipment of Interest to see locations where available and further description and details.

    Submitting an entry

    You may also share information of research equipment in your institution to enhance visibility

    • 1. Click the submit an entry tab.
    • 2. Provide all required information in the Entry Form. You can also fill the optional/additional sections.
    • 3. Click on submit.
    • 4. Your entry will be submitted, reviewed and uploaded when considered to be satisfactory.
    • 5. By submitting an entry, you will be contributing to enhancing growth of science in the country.
